Birds are represented by over 9000 species- each with unique anatomy and physiology. Combined with x-ray type imaging (especially CT or ‘CAT’ scans), BriteVu perfusions help researchers study anatomy unique to each species, and in some cases breed, of bird. Not only is BriteVu being used to see the blood vessels of birds, it is also being used to outline the air sacs and sinuses for respiratory anatomy studies.
